CHALLENGE & STRATEGY

Relish works with household brands like Nestle, Pepsi and Nescafe and huge online retailers like ASOS, Pretty Little Thing, Boohoo and MissGuided to deliver samples to a reach of over 2.5 million customers all over the UK.

The Relish team wanted to create a brochure website which brought to life their Try. Love. Buy. proposition and a mini launch campaign to engage their existing partners and reach out to those brand managers and channels on their prospect list.

Building on Relish’s existing brand which uses flat colour, doughnuts and a range of commonly sampled products, we created a bold and engaging experience using design influences from popular TV shows and 8 bit graphics to visualise the Try. Love. Buy. message. 

For the launch campaign, based on the insight that Brand Managers work a different calendar to the rest of us, we created the Sampliverse, a parallel universe in which Christmas is in August and Valentines Day in December etc. We launched with a suite of hero banners and some launch goodies including an alternative calendar, laptop sleeves, reusable coffee cups and a newspaper.
